Ford's recommended time maintenance schedule is every 6 months for Normal, and every 3 months for Optional as outlined in the Customer Information Guide (or Owner Information Guide).
MAINTENANCE SERVICE #1
Change engine oil.
Replace oil filter.
Multi-point inspection.
MAINTENANCE SERVICE # 2
Change engine oil.
Replace oil filter.
Multi-point inspection.
Inspect tires for wear and rotate.
MAINTENANCE SERVICE # 3
Change engine oil.
Replace oil filter.
Multi-point inspection.
Inspect tires for wear and rotate.
Replace cabin/pollen air filter (if equipped).
Inspect brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums, brake lines and hoses and parking brake system.
Lubricate hinges,latches, locks, sliding door tracks and weather stripping.
Clean battery terminals.
Replace "green" engine coolant every 36 months or 60,000 km (whichever comes first)
Check and lubricate steering, suspension, ball joints, drive shaft U-joints and slip yoke (if serviceable).
Inspect engine col.lant system and hoses (check coolant strength and secure clamps.) Inspect wheels for end play or noise.
MAINTENANCE SERVICE # 4
Change engine oil.
Replace oil filter.
Multi-point inspection.
Inspect tires for wear and rotate.
Replace engine air and engine crank case filter.
Replace fuel filter.
Replace manual transmission fluid every 60 months of 100,000 km (light trucks, SUVs and LINCOLN LS).
Automatic transmission/transaxle service.
Replace climate-controlled seat filters at 100,000 km.
Replace "yellow" engine coolant at 60 months or 100,000 km (whichever comes first).

Maintenance covered by your FMPP is based on the schedule in your New Vehicle Scheduled Maintenance Services listed in the Customer Information Guide (or your Power Stroke Owner's Guide Supplement for 6.0L and 6.4L iesel engines). Since maintenance needs vary by vehicle and driving conditions, please consult your applicable guide for the recommended maintenance intervals, or see your dealer.
*When purchasing an FMPP 2 year/40,000 or 3 year/60,000 km with normal intervals, you will receive one additional Maintenance Service #2; when purchasing an EMPP or FMPP Plus! 4 year/80,000 km, 5 year/100,000 km or 6 year/120,000 km with normal intervals, you will receive two additional Maintenance Service #2; and when purchasing an FMPP 3 year/40,000 km with normal intervals, three additional Maintenance Service #2 will be included in your plan to meet the recommended "time" intervals as outlines in your applicable guide.
MAINTENANCE SERVICE #1
Applies to vehicles equipped with a 6.4L diesel engine only:
Inspect tires for wear, rotate and measure tread depth, and inspect wheels for end play and noise.
Multi-point inspection.
MAINTENANCE SERVICE #2
Change engine oil and replace oil filter.
Multi-point inspection.
Inspect tires for wear, rotate and measure tread depth.
Plus, vehicles equipped with a 6.0L or 6.4L diesel engine with "Special Operating Conditions":
Change engine and chassis mounted fuel filters.
Change rear axle lubricant or rear axle fluid (DANA axles only) at 80,000 km.
Check front axle lubricant at 80,000 km.
MAINTENANCE SERVICE #3
Includes all of the services listed in Maintenance Service #2, plus:
Replace cabin/pollen air filter (if equipped).
Inspect brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums, brake lines and hoses, and parking brake system.
Lubricate hinges, latches, locks and weather-stripping.
Clean battery terminals.
Inspect wheels for end play or noise.
Plus, vehicles with "Special Operating Conditions":
Replace fuel filter.
Plus, vehicles equipped with a 6.0L or 6.4L diesel engine:

Inspect exhause system and heat shields.
Inspect and lubricate front axle U-joints (4x4 vehicles).
MAINTENANCE SERVICE #4 AT 48,000KMS
Includes all of the services listed in Maintenance Service #3, plus:
Replace engine air filter.
Replace fuel filter.
Replace climate-controlled seat filters.
Change automatic transmission fluid (Torqshift only).
Replace externally mounted transmission filter element (if equipped).
Inspect/adjust and lubricate 4x2 wheel bearings for end play (if serviceable).
Plus, vehicles with "Special Operating Conditions".
Replace wheel bearing grease seal.
Replace all transmission fluids.
Plus, vehicles equipped with a 6.0L or 6.4L diesel engine:
Vehicles equipped with the Torqshift transmission and the externally mounted remote filter element, replace the automatic transmission fluid and the externally mounted filter element (if equipped). Inspect automatic transmission fluid level on all other vehicles if equipped with dipstick.
MAINTENANCE SERVICE #4 AT 96,000KMS
Includes all of the services listed in Maintenance Service #4 at 48,000kms, plus:
Lubricate 4x2 wheel bearings (if serviceable).
Replace wheel bearing grease seal.
Plus, vehicles with "Special Operating Conditions".
Replace transfer case fluid.
Replace spark plugs and PCV valve (if serviceable).
Replace rear axle fluid for E and F450-550.
Change manual transmission fluid.
Plus, vehicles equipped with a 6.0L or 6.4L diesel engine:
Change automatic transmission fluid and internal Torqshift transmission fluid filter located inside the transmission bottom pan (vehicles without externally mounted remote filter only). Replace the externally mounted remote filter element for all Torqshift (if equipped). Inspect automatic transmission fluid level on all other vehicles if equipped with dipstick.
